Avenir is a newer wedding venue on the South Shore located at 1601 Main Street, not far from Boston. Avenir is operated by Saphire Event Group, which has been working for over 40 years! Avenir became a part of the family in 2018 and is the company’s largest property. Details of the Grounds
Avenir offers space for almost 400 wedding guests and features a stunning ballroom with crystal chandeliers, state-of-the-art curtain systems, and a mother-of-pearl dance floor. But the tall domed ceilings and modern but classic atmosphere only add beauty to your wedding. Along with the majestic ballroom, you can find an outdoor ceremony space that overlooks a wooded area. In addition, their elegant ceremony room, and an indoor terrace perfect for a cocktail hour within Avenir.
Photography Opportunities
Avenir can offer a variety of atmospheres and backdrops for so many different wedding photo opportunities! The wooded area and outdoor ceremony area provide a lush green setting with plenty of natural light peering through the trees. Avenir’s cocktail space, foyer, and bridal suite offer the opportunity to capture intimate images of the bridal party, groomsmen, or even just the bride and groom in a clean and neutral setting. The ballroom has different lighting options to create ambiance, a romantic, moody atmosphere, or a bright, colorful setting! This venue has a space or can create a space for any style of wedding you want!
Wedding Details
Avenir and Saphire Event Group include a few basic amenities for each wedding package, including property rental, a private suite with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a mini food display from your custom menu, a personal attendant for your wedding party, floor-length house linens and overlays, Chiavari chairs, elegantly framed table numbers, professional waitstaff and bartenders, and parking attendants. Other staff provided to you include a personal event planner to help coordinate every detail of your wedding and an experienced event manager to focus on you and act as a behind-the-scenes person for your wedding day. You can also enjoy complimentary food tasting, custom menus, and a wedding guidebook to serve as a curated planning tool.
For your reception, a variety of menu items are available, with selections for multiple courses such as passed Hors D’oeuvres for cocktail hour, a static display for cocktail hour, champagne toast for all guests, a signature salad, an assortment of rolls and butter, an entree selection, your custom wedding cake, and freshly brewed coffee and herbal tea. Hors D’oeuvres can include chicken, lamb, beef, seafood, vegetarian, and soup options, with static displays including crostini stations, dim sum pans, paella stations, shrimp display, charcuterie, and artisan cheese board options, and more. Appetizers consist of either soup courses or intermezzo. At the same time, entrees offered include beef, chicken, seafood, lamb, vegetarian, gluten-free, and duet options.
