Nestled on the shore of Nipmuc Pond, Grand View has had quite a storied past. It served as the only ballroom near the famous lake destination for the past century. People would come for miles to listen to music and dance the night away. The venue even served as a stop for the band Aerosmith in their earliest days! After some years of changing ownership, Grand View as we know it today was purchased by a group in 2014 and has been a beloved wedding spot ever since!

Ceremony Spaces
Whether you’re dreaming of an indoor or outdoor wedding, Grand View has you covered! The Bella Vista overlooks the breathtaking Boston foliage making it a spectacular spot for outdoor fall weddings. The Terraza is on the banks of Nipmuc Pond and is surrounded by cathedral-style columns beneath an open sky, giving you nature at its most grandeur. Indoor weddings are hosted at the Fireside in the venue’s Grand Ballroom and are warmed by the room’s magnificent 12-foot fireplace.
Reception Spaces
The Grand Ballroom is a spectacular spot for indoor receptions. Guests can relax beneath crystal chandeliers and enjoy delicious food while gazing out of the venue’s wall-to-wall windows. At night, the space comes alive with plenty of room to dance!
Any other spaces utilized for events like a cocktail hour. The venue includes a designated cocktail room. Your guests can sip specialty drinks at the 35-foot-long oak wood bar and listen to the sounds of the Steinway piano.
Getting Ready Rooms
The bridal suite is a cozy room where you can sip champagne and get ready. The space features a private powder room, soft lighting, a makeup vanity, and a flatscreen TV where you can watch a Livestream of the guests as they arrive.
You might be wondering, how many people can each space hold? While the Terraza can hold up to 220 guests, the Bella Vista and the Fireside can host up to 250 guests, making this venue the ideal spot for larger weddings.

Chef Linda Doherty provides the catering. She crafts incredible food with a farm-to-table philosophy. But the seasonal cooking will be the cherry on top of your fabulous day!
