Let me tell you about Rachel and Mike – they are the kind of couple who radiate joy and love wherever they go. As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing some truly special moments, but their Rhode Island wedding was absolutely unforgettable. From the first look to the emotional toasts, every detail was carefully planned and executed. I loved seeing their playful personalities shine through with fun touches, like taking photos with their fur babies. It was such an honor to be a part of their celebration and document their love story. I’m excited to share it all with you all!

Meet The Lovebirds

There was something extraordinary about capturing the love between Rachel and Mike. They are the owners of Edible Land Design in Charlton, Massachusetts. And the best thing I love about this couple? They pour their hearts and souls into their farm, and it shows. Despite working hard all week with their beloved pigs, they clean up exceptionally well. It’s no surprise they have become such great friends of mine, and I feel so fortunate to have their support in turn. It’s genuinely heartwarming to see their passion for community and local businesses, and it’s something I love seeing firsthand.

There’s nothing quite like capturing the wonderful energy surrounding a couple on their big day. Rachel and Mike’s wedding was no exception, as the air was filled with excitement. I couldn’t get enough of how stunning Rachel looked in her wedding dress. She also had an incredibly sweet and touching first look with her dad. And speaking of sweet, Rachel had previously booked a special bridal boudoir session with me as a gift for her groom, Mike. He looked absolutely dashing on the big day, and I loved capturing his charming smile on camera. Plus, having their adorable pups, Milo and Buddy, at the hotel for photos was the icing on the cake. It was indeed a paw-some start to this special day!

The couple’s favorite part of the day was their church ceremony, and I have to admit, mine was too! The St. Paul Church in Cranston, Rhode Island, was the perfect venue for their union. When Rachel walked down the aisle, you could see her excitement and anticipation. And, when Mike caught his first glimpse of her, his whole face lit up! It was a magical moment seeing them both so in love and ready to start their lives together. The love and blessings of their friends and family surrounded them as they said their “I do’s,” making for one of the most beautiful moments I’ve witnessed.

Once the ceremony was over, it was time for some portraits, and this party was warming up. Rachel and Mike’s bridesmaids and groomsmen brought so much fun and energy to the shoot, and it was an absolute blast capturing memories with them. The venue’s outdoors provided the perfect backdrop for these moments – light, romantic, and just so picture-perfect. And let’s not forget the couples portraits during that magical blue hour! The dreamy skies combined with the couple’s love made my job a breeze.

Rachel and Mike’s reception at Crowne Plaza in Providence was an evening to remember! Filled with emotional toasts that left everyone teary-eyed and endless dancing that had everyone on their feet, the celebration was on another level! It was magical to witness the newlyweds’ first dance; it was as if time stood still with all eyes on them. As the night progressed, the guests joined in, and soon, everyone was on the dance floor – creating unforgettable memories.
